Admissions
Admissions will be treated on a first come, first served basis. However, where a sibling is already present this will be taken into account as will the start date required. Children may attend Totterdown Preschool when they reach 2 years of age and can remain with us until they are due to make the transition into school. We aim to accommodate each child from the date specified on their application form in accordance with spaces available at the time. We will endeavour to keep you informed and updated about availability. We are flexible about attendance patterns to accommodate the needs of individual children and families, but ask that children attend for a minimum of two sessions per week. This is to ensure that children benefit from continuity and stability in their learning environment. A notice period of at least 6 weeks is required should your child need to leave or adapt their sessions. With regards to funding vouchers (universal) being used, a whole terms notice is required in order to change provider. However, please note that in the case of 30 hour funding (+15) parents will need to join the scheme in the previous term to starting, as the funding is provided at the beginning of each new term (Autumn, Spring and Summer) and cannot be applied for once the term has commenced.
Charges
Totterdown Preschool welcomes Early Years Free Entitlement funding, FEET funded children, and childcare vouchers. For any information about sessions that are above and beyond the funded entitlement please get in touch.
