We are advocates of continuous provision with elements of adult led learning to broaden the children's knowledge and experience. We run a free-flow environment and use all of our vast outside area in all weathers, as well as incorporating forest school into our curriculum. We aim for our children to leave school ready by being emotionally ready, socially ready and independent. We are trained to use the Think Equal programme and Emotional regulation framework.
All of our sessions will consist of the following 7 areas of learning.
3 Prime areas
· Personal, Social and Emotional Development
· Communication, language
· Physical Development
4 Specific areas
· Literacy:
· Mathematics
· Understanding of the World
· Expressive Arts and Design:
We believe that children thrive when they have a consistent routine and a consistent set of boundaries and expectations. Every day follows the same basic routine and children feel safe as they know what is happening.
